FUR FIT GUIDE
A fur coat needs room for the material itself and the layers underneath. Check the shoulder first, then sleeve length, body ease and coat length.
Start at the Shoulder
The shoulder should sit without pulling across the back or dropping farther than the style intends.
Check the Wrist
Sleeves should reach the intended point at the wrist while allowing comfortable movement.
Leave Room to Layer
Measure over the layers you plan to wear and leave enough room to move without losing the intended shape.
Match the coat to your real winter layers. Leave enough room without changing the intended silhouette.
Measure over the layers you plan to wear. Focus on bust, shoulder, sleeve and coat length, then compare those numbers with the product page.
Measure over light clothing, keep the tape level, and record each measurement without pulling too tightly.
Follow these six essential measurements to help us assess your size, proportions, preferred coat length and layering needs. For the most accurate result, wear light fitted clothing, stand naturally and keep the measuring tape level without pulling it tight.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, passing beneath the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep it parallel to the floor and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.
Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other, following the natural curve across your upper back. Keep your shoulders relaxed rather than pulling them backward.
Start at the outer shoulder point and measure down the outside of the arm to the wrist bone. Keep the arm relaxed with a slight natural bend instead of holding it completely straight.
Measure from the prominent bone at the base of the back neck to your preferred hem position. Record whether you prefer hip, mid-thigh, knee or full length.
Measure the natural waist at its narrowest point, then measure around the fullest part of the hips. Keep both measurements level and avoid tightening the tape.
Provide your current height and weight together with the measurements above. These details help us assess overall proportions, garment balance and the most appropriate size recommendation.
Every fur coat has its own volume, structure and silhouette. Use your measurements together with our size chart to find the right balance between comfort, layering space and elegant proportions.
